Liverpool was thrashed 4-0 by Chelsea this morning! No Owen, no goals...this has been the saying of the pool team lately, and it proves right...Looks like PT has run out of luck already. Pool face another title deciding match this weekend against Arsenal. They need to bounce back..!!!!

Failed my Driving Test...

Seems that I am destined to fail this one...a lot of things went against me...(Heavy rain, Bus lane, Safety checks...the list goes on). Ok, those were jus excuses! Anyway, just have to try harder next time though..was on 50-50 when I took the test!!

Time flies...

5 years ago, yesterday was my enlistment date. Time really flies, I have grown up from a 18 yr old young boy to a more matured (I hoped so :)..haha) young adult already! But getting old liaoz..!

No updates yesterday...

Didn't make any post yesterday cos' I formatted my pc and was busy installing Windows XP. It took around 1 hr for my P2-300MHZ pc for a clean install. Anyway, it's working now and I am trying to get my programs to work again!

Rams do speed up the system!

Went to Sim Lim yesterday and bought 128MB PC-100 SD RAM to add to my presnt 128MB. After installing, i do feel that programs now run more smoothly when multi-tasking. The prices of RAMs have fallen recently, but is slowly increasing, so if you do want the upgrade, do it now!!

Baros move delayed

Liverpool FC are taking their case for a work permit for Czech player Milan Baros to a review panel after an appeal from the 20-year-old failed to win him permission to play in the FA Premiership. Shortage of matches The English Premier League club agreed to sign the midfield player for a reported fee of €5m from Czech 1. liga side FC Banik Ostrava in July. Baros was refused a permit as he has only played in 40 per cent of his country's matches over the last two years, short of the 75 per cent non-European Union (EU) players must have played to get a permit under UK government rules. ‘Request a review’ "Once a work permit has been refused at this stage, the club can request a review and argue that the player in question is capable of making a significant contribution to the development of the game in the UK," said a statement from Liverpool on Friday. A week’s wait Liverpool expect their case to be heard next week before a review panel including members of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA), the Football Association (FA) and the Premier League. ‘International debut at 19’ "Having made his international debut at 19, Baros has played in all six games for the Czech Republic and Liverpool will be able to present a particularly strong case in front of the panel," the statement added.

Problems with visitors using 15 inch monitors...

A few of my friends have reflected to me that my site seems to have some problems, as the right content overlaps the center contents, and they have difficulties reading the words. Those who have problems viewing the site, please feedback to me by clicking 'your say', and I will try to fix the problems...
Those with 17 inch monitors and above seem to have no problem reported, but if u are one of them, but face problems, please feedback to me too!!

Driving Test next Friday!

Been taking intensive driving lessons this week to prepare for next Friday's Test. I took a break of almost 2 and a half months since september and went back to driving only last week. Now a little rusty already, especially on the road. I guess I need more practice! Just hope for the BEST!

Fowler makes his Leeds debut!

Fowler play the full 90 minutes as he made his Leeds debut against Fulham yesterday. The match ended 0-0. Although Fowler struggled to make an impact as Leeds were overrun by the home side, a long-range effort and a close range snapshot which almost crept under Edwin van der Sar represented his best chances. The result leaves Liverpool three points clear from Arsenal at the top of the Premiership table on 29 points, as Leeds stay third but move onto 25 points after the goalless stalemate. Liverpool have a game in hand on both clubs.

Man United are kissing their championship dreams goodbye as they lost for the 5th time of the season yesterday! They were beaten by Chelsea 3-0 at OLD TRAFFORD!! Meanwhile, Liverpool is showing the kind of championship form (winning 1-0 against Derby when u are not playing well)

England drawn in the "Group of death"!

The World Cup draw is out! Followed the online draw yesterday, and was stunned to find England grouped with Argentina, Sweden and Nigeria. All 4 teams are very strong and it proves to be the toughest group in the draw. England would have a tough time to qualify from the First round!!

Fowler finally signs for Leeds

Liverpool are now with only 3 recognised stikers in Owen, Heskey and Litmanen in the First Team. I think they need to buy another top class striker quickly! If any of the 3 above suffer any injuries, it would definitely ruin the Red's chances of winning the championship this season.

However, we do have some talented youngsters like Neil Mellor, Milan Baros and the 2 young French strikers, who are coming in the summer of 2003. So the future of Liverpool's strike force still looks bright, but it's the present that Pool supporters are worried...

Anyway, it's around 2am now, and i am going to zzzzz...hope to see more comments tomorrow on my site! (Please click 'your say' to post your comments!)

Fowler is just a medical away from joining Leeds!!

My Second post will be on my favourite club - Liverpool. The man, idolized by Pool fans and nicknamed as "God", will be leaving Anfield and joining the Red's arch rival, Leeds United as soon as his medical is OK. Personally, I feel it is good for both the player and Liverpool, as he will get another chance to get into the World Cup squad by playing at Leeds, while Liverpool can now concentrate on bringing another striker to the club!!
